One of my favourite memories of my late Mother is her snowdop love!
Every year at this time , she would take off for a day with her dog, a huge bag , a flask of coffee and a trowel , and start digging in the grounds of an old house she used to work close by to...

(it's super-posh now , and very restricted - old ladies digging up snowdrops would NOT be applauded!)
and by evening , we had snowdrops!
Her friends , my sisters , her sisters , and later on my adult gardening self all gained from my Mum's annual snowdrop pilgrimage. Instead of a goodbye hug , we got clumps of her white (possibly) ill- gotten booty.
Which is why I've been paying a lot of attention to snowdrop posts lately.
Two of my faves -

A beautiful post by Hecate , which immediately made me think of Mum.
and this one , on snowdrop art - how beautiful.

and from this post , I took notice of the junk- shop- find picture which hangs at the bottom of my stairs ...
I've always wondered about this pic - now I realise it might be part of a series ?
Wonder if Mum has brought it to my attention , so I will think of her ? Emmm, Mum , I think about you each time I pass it , so don't fret.
Happy Monday , Witches!
